Motivation for Your Monday!

It’s Monday!!! And I have a little challenge for us this week.  Let’s  follow Jesus’ command to encourage each other and love, lift each other up, not put one another down.  There is way too much of that going on in our schools, homes, and work places.

To quote Mandisa “If we’re gonna fight, Let’s fight for each other, If we’re gonna shout, Let love be the cry'”.

My Monday Motivation Challenge:

How will you encourage and build others up today, this week?  Share in the comments.

I am going to send a hand written letter to someone to give them a boost of love and encouragement.

I can’t wait to see all of your creative ideas of how you will share the love this week!

Love and Light,

Jane Ann

  1. Really a great beginning for this week. I try to remember to ask God who I can touch for him that day and there is always somebody maybe even more than one. Sometimes just a smile to a stranger you see in a store means more than you’ll ever know. So proud of you

  2. It doesn’t always take much. I work downtown and when walking at lunch, It is just my nature to smile and say hello to those I pass. I suppose it is my small town, southern upbringing. My co-workers have often told me that I should not speak to strangers for safety reasons. Well, one day I passed a young African American man, and he said “hello” to me, which usually doesn’t happen. I responded with a smile and a greeting and he stopped me. I was a little apprehensive, but he smiled and went on to say that he had said hello to everyone he had passed that day, and I was the first person who responded with kindness. He thanked me and went on his way. I have never forgotten this young man. You just never know what a difference a simple gesture can make.

  3. Anytime I hear someone say something negative , I will comment with something positive and uplifting. Love this challenge Jane Ann!
